Proof that blog friends can become IRL friends:

Paula came from Orlando to visit me this weekend!!!
We had the best best BEST time! Naturally, it rained all weekend, but we would not be bested!Â
There was a nice 10 miler around the city that took us by the monuments . . .Â

Stolen from Paula–please don’t sue me.
A ginormous brunch where we unintentionally ordered the exact.same.thing. . . .Â

Egg white omelets with turkey sausage, feta, spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes with salsa on the side.
Shopping in Georgetown–which included my first lululemon purchase and a trip to Dean & Deluca! Any Felicity lovers in the house???Â

Plenty of FroYo eating . . .Â

And a fun night on the town . . .
Â

Where we were reasonably well-behaved.

I’m not doing it justice–and I’m sure Paula will do better–but we had a truly fantastic time. Paula even commented before she left yesterday that she wasn’t even sick of me yet. The feeling was mutual. You are welcome to visit me anytime, my dear!Â
She even put up with my wild-ass dog, which is really saying something since Roo took a liking to her bras.

Do you have any blog friends who’ve turned into IRL friends?Â
I like to think I have quite a few!
I had so much fun! You are an awesome host. Also, I’m bookmarking this post just for this: “You are welcome to visit me anytime, my dear! ” and then I’m booking my next flight. I’ll bring extra, dirty bras just for Roo.
We will be anxiously awaiting your return!!!

I think Roo has an affinity for intimates.
You know it. Especially worn ones.

So glad you had a fun weekend with Paula… I hope you ladies didn’t go too bonkers out on the town
I couldn’t help but to laugh at the end when she mentioned “not even being sick of you yet” I sooo get that one. When I have had friends stay with me in the past, especially during “darker” times in terms of everything, I couldn’t wait for the person to leave so I could have my alone time again! I am slowly but surely getting over that, plus with the right person, you don’t feel like that! Such as with Paula
Sounds like you girls had a nice time together. I’m jealous. I want to meet you!!
Some of my most treasured people are people I’ve met through blogging. Unfortunately, we don’t live close, but they are never far from thought and technology is a great thing for keeping in touch. Wish we lived closer though.
I know! I would love that, too!
