Typically, I find leftovers less than thrilling. But last night’s dinner was so good, I wasn’t bummed at all to have this looking back at me.

Nope, not mad at that at all.

Scarfed it.

And had a little Magic Hat #9 on the side.

I’ve been loving my wine lately, but this tasted amazing! In fact, some might say it went down a little too smooth . . . nah.

So I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before, but Thursdays are usually my day to work in the office. The rest of the week I work from home, but for the sake of actual human contact and not losing my mind, I like to go in at least once a week. The highways I have to take are pretty trafficky, so it takes me at least an hour to get there—usually more like an hour and fifteen to thirty minutes. But, if it’s only once a week, I can deal.

It’s also good for me to go in so I have at least one day a week where I’m focused all day and not spending a ridiculous amount of time reading blogs and whatnot. Not that that happens regularly or anything . . .

I’ve gotta say, though, it takes a LOT out of me. It’s not the working, but the commute. I guess it does turn a 9 hour work day into closer to 11, so maybe that has something to do with it. At any rate, I’m beat!

I came home to my leftovers and a DVR’ed episode of Up All Night.

Did anyone else catch it??? I love Christina Applegate in pretty much anything, but I legitimately loved this! I could totally relate; I’m pretty sure this will be me if I ever end up with a child. You know—drinking and swearing and continuing to be ridiculous.

Alright, apparently I am a total lightweight and am now super spent. Commence vegging out on the couch . . . NOW!

What new fall show are you most looking forward to?

I was (obviously) looking forward to Up All Night, and I can’t wait for New Girl with Zooey Deschanel.
